C-4 Bicycle Design Company was born from an idea, that we could design and make hubs in the US that are the equal of any others made for our favorate occupation; wheelbuilding. While this has been a lofty goal, with hiccups on the way, we feel this is now being met. Being that we are wheelbuilders first, we don't just use our own hubs, we've carefully selected some others from Italian companies Miche and PMP that we also like and use ourselves. Our experience with both companies goes back to the early 1990's, and feel they are more than worthy of their place in cycling history, let alone on today's bicycles. While the prebuilt wheel certainly has it's place (indeed we produce our own and offer a selection of theirs also) there is always something to be said for the hand crafted custom wheel. Until you've tried a pair, cycling will never be the same.
